Dr. Metcalf is one of the best vets I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He was able to see my 15 year old cat the next day when a serious health issue happened. He helped me formulate a holistic approach to healing her, and during the visit he gave her acupuncture, laser treatment and a spinal adjustment. His gentle approach calmed her and she was visibly more relaxed with each adjustment. I will continue to recommend him to anyone in need of a professional and intuitive vet who truly understands the needs of each animal!
My senior kitty, Magnum, was limping and painful from arthritis. A different veterinarian had prescribed him painkillers - but they made him loopy and didn't seem to take away the pain. I had heard about Dr. Metcalf's acupuncture and tried it. After 3 treatments Magnum is no longer limping and is back to his old loving self. Dr. M has such a gentle touch with animals. Magnum purred and was very relaxed and comfortable during his treatments. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and highly recommend Dr. Metcalf.
Dr. Metcalf has been seeing my dog, Splatter (14.5 yr old Eng. Setter X), for about a month now because of severe arthritis in his spine, hips, and knees, and for nerve damage in his right rear knee and leg. Dr. Metcalf has performed electro-acupuncture and chiropractic manipulations on my dog and has also started him on a regimen of Chinese herbal therapy. Since this started, Splatter's ambulation has significantly improved and his pain has been greatly eased. Dr. Metcalf is not only a highly trained practitioner but is also a very compassionate and caring individual. I highly recommend his practice to any whose pets are suffering from illnesses that cannot be helped by conventional medicine.
Dr Metcalf and is very kind, personable people and I look forward to seeing them whenever I have an appointment. Dr. Metcalf has an amazing touch with animals and has been very patient and understanding with both of my dogs. They have both responded really well to the treatments and are noticeably more comfortable.
I have never met a more caring and passionate vet. Dr Todd is always available day, night or weekends. He calls to check in and make sure everything is going well. We live in CO now and continue treatment under Dr Todd. I cant imagine not having him in our life. Our boy is doing amazing under Dr Todd's treatment of herbs and acupuncture. Dr Todd and his wife are the most amazing passionate caring people I have ever met. I dont think our boy would be with us if it were not for Dr Todd. Dr. Metcalf is the best! I am thrilled at Leo's progress since going to see Dr. Todd for acupuncture! Leo is 14 years old! That's 98 in people years, and after just 3 treatments he is acting like he did when he was little dog. He literally has the spring back in his step, a sparkle in his eyes and is the happiest I have every seen him. If thats not testament to Dr. Todd's wonderful skills, I am not sure what is!! He and his little dog sis Baby, (who goes to the treatments as well for moral support and the treats..lol..probably more for the treats) LOVES Dr. Todd and his wife Dawn! And best of all, Leo loves to go to get his acupuncture treatments! I am SO SO SO happy and grateful to have such a wonderful, experienced Holistic Vet close, that has not only the Conventional Vet experience, but has the Holistic as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! Dr. Metcalf has helped and continues to help our sweet Agatha. He has greatly improved the quality of her life when conventional Western medicine just wasn't cutting it. His knowledge and understanding of how the animal body works is incredible. My only regret is that I wish we had discovered him sooner! Highly recommended.
